In the morning, you will drive to visit Cu Chi tunnels – also named “Steel land”. It’s where the army troops of the VC (Viet Cong) concealed themselves during the Vietnam war. The tunnel systems were created by local people over a period of years. This huge construction was a habitation for villagers in the war time. TOUR PROGRAM DETAILS:

08:00AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City then drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels.

We leave the bustling city behind the scenery begins to change; first to lush rice paddies, then to rubber plantations, and finally to villagers drying noodles by the side of the road and going about their daily chores.

On arrival, we start the visit with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnels. Here, you can imagine what it was like to be a guerrilla complete with Russian Carbine rifles and AK 47’s. On display in the visitor’s section, you can see a map of the tunnel system; this really helps you comprehend the complexity and the ingenious design of the tunnels.

We have lunch at a local Halal restaurant then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City at around noon.

In the afternoon, we will start to visit the most interesting sites in the city. You will visit Reunification Palace, The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office, Duong Ba Trac Muslim village or a Muslim Mosque in Ho Chi Minh City.

If we have time, we will go shopping places such as and Ben Thanh market, Vi Anh/ Huong Ann/ Saigon Square or other shopping complex of your interests…. for shopping until late afternoon. Tour ends at your hotel at around 18:00.

NOTE: The tour program is flexible, you can discuss with your tour guide to focus on what you are more interested in as long as you can visit as many sites as possible within the time.

• Children below 6 years old sharing meals & room with parents are free of charge
• Children below 12 years old sharing room with parents without extra bed are charged 50% of the total tour cost
• Children below 12 years old sharing room with parents with extra bed are charged 75% of the tour cost
• Children from 12 years old up will be charged as an adult.
